Things seem to be moving in the right direction for the Florida State Seminoles. They just had a dominant win over the University of Massachusetts Minutemen to continue their three-game winning streak. Meanwhile, their rivals are all sputtering. Miami has been hit with the injury bug and is a shell of the team they were expected to be, Florida only plays football on one side of the ball, but the strangest of all is Clemson.

The Clemson Tigers have as many losses early in this season as they have had the past three seasons combined. Their offense is anemic and their defense is the only thing keeping their heads above water. It seems like FSU may have a much better chance to beat the Tigers than anyone would have guessed a few weeks ago.

This episode of the Triple Option is a two-parter. First, we take a quick peek at some Clemson film and look at what they like to do and what can FSU do to stop them. Then we move on to the second half of the UMass game to take a look at some of the up-and-coming players that don’t normally get in-game reps.

Clemson's D is still really good is my biggest reservation, also I don't agree with slowing things down. The way to beat Clemson's D is to go as fast as possible and with Clemson's O struggling up tempo should be the way to go.

Our defense is lacking in LB coverage. Lundy is really good at run stop but at the same time, they are probably equal to Syracuses LBs

I expect a serious effort from Clemson. They are not going to want to lose to FSU at home, creating back to back losses.

Everyone forgets that Clemson is a fraud and always has been. Two generational talents at QB are the difference there. That offense sucks out loud.

I really struggle seeing FSU scoring fewer than 21 against Clemson. Corbin is good for one, Travis' legs are good for one, than maybe defense/ST/busted play.

I think y’all are overreacting to Travis Jay not getting a lot of run with the first team defense, I’m pretty sure he’s dealing with a nagging energy that is just limiting his explosiveness or general elusiveness. We’ve only been seeing him on kickoff returns cuz you don’t have to change direction like you would on the defense, but he still was able to break a long one against NC, so i’m curious to see if he is able to come back fully healthy later in the year or next year
