The other name for a skill connect is SSC also known as Sword Skill Chain. The higher the chain the higher the dmg output is

This scene is awesome because of SSC. For who dont know about sword skill chain (or connect), in the sao games you can chain your sword skills (but you cant use different weapon's skills like this scene) Firstly Kirito using one hand sword skill with the right sword after that he using another one hand sword skill with the left sword. This makes SSC2. Then he using his dual sword skill Horizontal Square for SSC3 then finally he using Vorpal Strike which one hand sword skill and the result is SSC4. (Every SSC increase damage: Damage x SSC Bonus)
