After that driving record, he should be held without bail. He's clearly a danger to society.

Why do police administrators keep bad cops on the job?
There is nothing to gain by that and much to lose.

Not his car, why should he care? If he was made to pay for damages after the FIRST incident, I guarantee this would have never happen

Dude went through $200k in state cars and they just kept leting him drive? Like one crash he totaled $100k in two patrol cars? How was that not enough injuring another officer? Whoever kept letting him drive needs to be held accountable. Then this lame news station shows the victum and not the criminal> Nice job guys...

Olivia Flores was killed by a known deadly driver. This killing did not need to happen. How was he able to continue in law enforcement with a terrible driving record?

For those that aren't aware, his squad car was reported to be traveling 83 mph at the time of the fatal crash. The speed limit on 12th St SW is 40 mph and the intersection where the accident occurred is a busy mall entrance. IMO, he knew better than to be driving that fast in that area. I would hope this would be a lesson for all LEO's to obey the laws you help to enforce. Qualified immunity seems to give these irresponsible LEO's a "free pass" and that's very unfortunate.

The upper management that oversaw all of the video footage and reports of the previous crashes and gave him a light slap on the wrist should also be charged with negligent homicide. They could've prevented this girls death.

Watched 2 town cops going thru Red lights with emergency lights on, followed them to Perkins to have lunch with their buddies.

A child has died because of his actions. If the state police had fired him after his 2nd or 3rd accident, this child would be alive today! He should spend the rest of his life in prison. I can't imagine the pain this family is in and all because of his actions and the state for allowing his lawless behavior to continue!

You can thank the local FOP for him being allowed to keep his job. Any other employer would have terminated emplyment after the first at fault accident.

You keep showing a picture of the victim and not the criminal ! Why ?

I think I'd get the same salary, half the work, and little to no accountability, if I quit my current job and worked for the MN State Patrol!

there is a lot more troopers who drive like this as a trucker i see them flying with no lights or sirens all the time.

A trooper passed me very fast today, no lights or siren, and I sped up just to clock him at 85mph. He then pulled off the side of the road ahead and backed into the woods to hide and catch speeders.

The police dept. should be held responsible and not just the trooper.

Who the hell is in charge of the Minnesota Troopers??? If a citizen drove like that they would have their license revoked. DOUBLE STANDARDS!!

"does not reflect core values of the department" well if not that then them being best buds with this screw-up and not firing him 2 crashes ago definitely shows it does reflect core values

They keep doing this because they have no accountability as it doesn't come out of their pocket so they don't care.
