I was very into punk rock when The Pistols gained notoriety. Just when you thought you'd seen everything the punk rock scene showed us something very different. The real life story of Sid and Nancy was quite sad. The film takes some artistic license but in a way is like a time capsule of a part of my high school years. Gary Oldman and Chloe Webb played their parts very well. Courtney Love had a very small role. Nancy Spungeon is buried not too far from where I live in Huntingdon Valley Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. RIP Sid and Nancy.

Sid Vicious died in GREENWICH VILLAGE, New York City, not Greenwich, NY which is a small town near the Vermont border. I've never been to Greenwich but I'm quite sure it's very different than the Village.
