That's why I like Graham Norton as a chat show host. He never seeks higher ratings via controversy and is always doing his best to make his guests feel comfortable.

To me
Most of these awkward moments are fuelled mainly by 3 things.
1. Drugs
2. Toxic and forceful social dynamics
3. talentless un-humble adults desprate to throw their weight about trying to be and feel important and noteworthy no matter how cringy they look

Grace Jones was seriously high. Look at her eyes.

I like the bit when they talk over 70% of the interview footage

The Richard Ayoade one is just funny, not awkward. I have a mahoosive crush on him!
Also I would love to see Richard Ayode as Dr Who. Anyone else?

Krishnan GuruMurthy with Robert Downey Jr or Quentin Tarantino is more awkward that beloved Richard.
The fact that Ollie Reed is not on this list is wrong

What about Parkinson's sexist interview with Helen Mirren? That was pretty amazing in the sense that MIrren totally won the day!

If Helen Mirren was a bloke and did that to a lass they'd be in for a bollocking. I'm not saying Mirren is a perv, but what's wrong with banta!

The one show has always been very disjointed. There is never enough time to talk to the guests, they often have to stop the guest from talking too much, when they think they are on there to promote something. British celebs seem to know what they are going into these days, but I do think other stars need to be more prepared before going on the show!

so happy the voice over guy explained the clips to me. It isn't annoying at all.

Bee Gees on Clive takes the cake for me, I think. It's hard to tell where that went wrong exactly, between Clive not taking a hint where to let the insults drop, or Barry being a raging diva for some reason.

Oh I lost my shit with the Nic Cage interview. Too much for my poor stomach. 😂😂

Jay Leno was a hopelessly incompetent interviewer. He treated that show with Hugh Grant as one big, smarmy joke.
