I never understand the concept of The One Show. Like is it a celebrity interview show? Is it a life style show? Is it a This Morning style show? It feels like a very odd mash up of countryfile, This Morning and generic celebrity interview shows. I just dont get it.

The One Show is bizarre, I will never forget them asking Pamela Anderson on her opinion on Colliery Brass Bands in Yorkshire, shortly after a report they did... Quite surreal!!! Like something from Alan Partridge!!

I discovered The One Show during lockdown and have watched it ever since. Didn't know it had been going that long. They pretty much get it right, but you can't expect moments like these never to happen.
A friend said they used to have an audience. Where did they sit? There is no room unless it was in a bigger studio back then.
