I’m just wondering: if they managed to include options to make the squad entirely ranged or assault, why couldn’t they do that for the ORKS!?

I like that they've included helmet and bare head options for every member of the squad, like they did with the new Sisters. Now they just need to learn from the Ork Boy fiasco and make sure there's Defender and Storm options for each as well.

I love this new kit, it feels more like a remaster of the old kit then a remake. You can definitely see that their poses are improved, standing more upright and natural. Those helmets look sharp as a knife.
More importantly, seeing as this is a new GW kit I can take these guardians as they come in the box – a combined-arms unit – or get multiple boxes to create units specialized in either shooting or slashing! What a time to be a hobbyist!

They look great. They should fit in well with the existing guardians. Super pleased that the kit can build storm guardians as well as defenders.

The old Guardians were my very first Warhammer kit back in the late 90s, so this update holds special significance for me. Now, if GW could just get their sh*t together I'd probably end up starting a brand new Eldar Army.

The armour layers remind of the improvements they made to primaris over first born. I am eldar through and through but currently painting some dark angels for the collection. I find the first born a chore but the new primaris are an absolute joy to paint from the placing of the armour panels. If you glaze, drybrush or just edge high light the new primaris are great to paint and these guardians look like they will be just as much fun to paint as well and can't wait to get my hands on a set.

I've never looked at eldar and though I want them, but damn I want these. The Rangers and jet bike sniper also looked awesome. This new range might entice me to starting a new army.

I absolutely love all the new Eldar stuff.The old Guardians won't look out of place next to the new ones even though the horrible GW paintjob would suggest otherwise.

Really loving this one, much more than the rangers!! Super nice that Storm and Defenders are in the same kit with a lot of extra options! Those heads are incredibly well done (and finally they got someone to paint those female heads, unlike Lilith and the Banshee Exarch).

I am absolutely overjoyed that they stayed this close to the original design. The Eldar design is iconic and timeless and changing it is heresy. Making it more detailed and fresh is all i need.

Fun fact: the Serpent's Scale platform design is a nod towards the old Epic and Armorcast Wave Serpents. I love that so much!
