XB-1 to Mach 1

XB-1 flew for the first time on March 22nd. Now, and in preparation for supersonic flight later this year, the FAA has granted XB-1 a first-of-its-kind Special Flight Authorization (SFA) to Exceed Mach 1, which will take place in airspace within the R-2508 Complex.

Boom trying sooo hard to post a video longer than 30 seconds

Dear Boom Marketing folks. Birds as the sound track? Static shots at dawn with some safety-vest cladded guy? Here's an idea instead. Starts black. The sound of a distant, very fast, jet approaching, with clear and apparent Doppler shift. Fade up of long shot of XB-1 on tarmac at dawn, head on from opposite end of runway, using a drone. As sound of jet approaches, drone zooms along runway toward XB-1 nose, and as sound of jet reaches crescendo as it passes, drone flys over XB1 and goes vertical, rotating camera to keep XB-1 in frame. Drone continues to ascend toward a long shot of XB1 from above, which now has the nose pointing up in frame. Title appears: Authorized for Mach 1. Now *that* would give me chills.
