Thanks for sharing this. Chalet trailers have been adding gas spring lift assistance to the side walls to reduce the effort required to raise them by about 95% (estimated) using 20" gas springs rated at around 80 to 120 pounds. The demonstrated trailer could have two of them added to the far wall and one added to the entry wall. I used an excess 26" gas spring rated at 30 pounds on the entry side wall and it reduced the uplift force required by 45% (greatly appreciated). I wish I could also do this to the far wall (as could easily be done on this demonstrated trailer) but cannot. That wall is heavy to raise. The addition of gas springs to these side walls has the side benefit of cushioning the fall of the side walls should a wind gust blow one down. They act like shock absorbers when the walls are moved to quickly.

Great Video thanks I have a question though, It is my understanding that Aliner Recommends NOT unlatching the dormers unit the roof is completely erect. let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks again
