Why did you use quick swap? Cant we just use swap option on MetaMask?

what i saw was how to send it from one wallet to another basically, what I'm looking for is to get it to an exchange and see the steps that allow me to cash it out, to my debit card/bank so i can do a purchase. PS I'm in Vancouver.

Omg I should have known this before. Totally done with ridiculous gas fees on ETH mainnet. Always thought Matic was just another coin, never delved in the Polygon network. Only part I still don't understand is what happens at Binance when the MATIC is received - wouldn't it need to go through a bridge there to become available? I mean it still has to switch networks right? Or am I missing somethin

This process seems simple and cheap to get your WETH out of polygon however you no longer have WETH/Eth since it was converted to Matic. The real kicker to be able to swap back to ETH with minimal cost.

@Grraarrgghh Before seeing this video, I made the big mistake of sending Matic USDT to an ERC20 address on an exchange. I can see the transaction on polygonscan, but I can't access the funds. I assume there's no way to recover them, unless Matic enables it via some change to their protocol?
