Would have been interesting to know their relationship level, like how long have they been together, living together, are they married or in a partnership? And then it would have been interesting to see the answers from people in different stages of relationships.

My husband and I have no concept of a ratio or split, it’s all our money. I may make way more than he does but I don’t see that as me paying for way more.

Me and my bf get drastically different pays. We use to have separate accts, and still do but now we have debit cards for each others accts. We get paid same day, pay all bills owed in that 2 week period, including savings. Whatever is leftover sits till next pay. It's worked for us since the day we moved in together. We are responsible for our own CC.

Dating = must be 50/50. Keep your savings separated and remember there is a difference between boyfriend/girlfriend and husband/wife.
Married = must be 100/100. You put everything into the new family.

The fairest imo way to split the bills is to do it in proportion to what each person brings in every month. Thus if A brings in twice as much as B they should pay two thirds of the total bills amount as they are bringing in two thirds of the money.

Back in the 1900s men worked & paid for everything. Because MEN took care of their family, but times have changed. There's ALOT of moms out here paying for almost everything by theirselves. To each their own. As long as they are happy what does it matter honestly?

I think it depends on what each of you earn. If you have one person earning double the other is 50/50 fair? I think as a couple what you have over is the same.

Different, because we're college roommates not partners, but my housemates and I each took one utility in our name and just venmo charge everyone when the bill comes. We broke up who has each utility by who would be most comfortable covering if someone was unable to pay their share. So the girl who had the largest fixed income took the water bill, as that was quarterly and always the most expensive.
