Wow!!! We live in St george and saw only sprinkles of water. My heart goes out to all. It's hard putting that much back together 🙏

The nomenclature of '10 year storm', '100 year storm', etc. can be a little misleading. A '100 year storm' does not mean it only happens once every 100 years. Instead, it means that each year has a 1 in 100 chance of having such a storm. It is not out of the normal realm of possibility for such storms to happen in sequential years, or even more than one in a year.
It is kind of an interesting way to categorize storms, but effective in planning for water runoff.

1983 and 1984 I think we're pretty bad years for flooding.

Ogden had nothing. Amazing how much different the weather can be a relatively short distance away

Maybe if they stopped spraying the sky with stuff from planes this wouldn't have happened.

"hundred year event" needs revision.

With the progress of climate change, it's a lot closer to "one year event".

These are going to happen more and more and more.
