Are Figma action figures worth the price? Today we compare 3 Figma figures at 3 different price points to find out! Looking at Figma Samus 133, Figma Link ex-032, and Figma Link 320 which turns out to be a knock-off! So that would have probably been 3 out of 3!

They definetly were worth it a few years ago, figma are my favorite toys to open and play with they’re just such quality, but lately the prices for them have just gone up like crazy, and they’ve been lacking a bit on the accessories department, so more pricey for less plastic, idk if it’s worth it, but if you do pay I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, figma are cool!

That Steven With A V sounds like good people! Also I knew that Twilight Princess was a bootleg as soon as you took it out of the package and I felt so bad! Super glad I didn’t pay a lot for it. Great video as always!!

The Link figures are some of the best Ive found for Zelda. Honestly thats the only ones I really like. The scale is a little small for most of my displays, with Link it works perfectly though

As others have already mentioned, that Twilight Princess Link is a bootleg. I have an authentic one I bought through Sideshow, and it's great.

I hope Figma re-release their Zelda from Twilight Princess and their Link from A Link Between Worlds. I would gladly buy both, but not for what they cost on the secondary market (especially Zelda).

It's a shame we don't get more Legend of Zelda figures.

Figmas are definitely worth it. I have well over 200 figmas and I love collecting them.

That tiny Link was also the first figma figure to have ball jointed wrists. I hated when they were pin jointed

I'm not a fan of FIGMAs and it irks me when I'm "forced" to buy them because S.H. Figuarts and/or some other company doesn't make the character I want in their line. The only good thing about Figma is that they do get re-released fairly often for more popular ones and they all come with a figure stand.

What’s the name of the girl with a sniper figure on the top right?

My favorite Zelda is Major's Mask so the Link between Worlds is about the closest I could get for a Smash Bros display. But missed out thinking it would just sit around forever as the price dropped. My biggest issue with figma is that they're small even by import standards. SHF might be a "heroic" 5 inch for years before they started to scale up, figma was always a true 5 inch and it made them look real sus next to other lines, especially domestics. Theres a figma deadpool that looks great but is like 2 heads shorter than a Marvel Legends. It works out well for some lines like My Hero or Demon Slayer. The only figma I know I have is the Bloodborne hunter and its pretty good but there might be a few others I'm forgetting that have been real packed away

I’ve got like 10 Figma. They’re awesome. Most of mine are a few years old, and they’ve held up really well. The prices are getting pretty crazy, so I won’t be buying any more. I just can’t justify paying that kind of money for relatively small figures with sometimes minimal accessories. I don’t watch a whole lot of anime so most of the characters they produce, I have no attachment to. If I see one I have to have, then I may make an exception. They are usually great quality and are beautifully detailed. I love the ones I have, so if I never get any more, I’ll be happy still

Is it possible that the 2nd link is a bootleg? I have the original and it is amazing.

As much as I like the Doom Slayer Figma (peordered on July 2021, released November 2022 and got mine on January/February 2023 from GoodSmile US), there are caveats outside of the price. One of his weapons is a little too heavy for the figure to hold, some of its elements are quite fragile (equipment launcher on his back did break for some early adopters, mine did not) and the bulkiness of the character makes it a little different to pose in some aspects. However, the detailing is incredible… far beyond what McFarlane Toys has achieved and you get all the accessories you should hope. However, it was indeed very expensive as it is one of their bigger releases.

Yes, I’ll be getting the Dread Samus for the sole reason that I don’t have either the Other M or Prime 3 Samus… and I love Metroid with the exception of a few releases that left me wanting more or rethink my appreciation of video games. If the EMMI robot is any indication to be amazing, then it’ll be my final figma figure since it is mostly if only characters from content I don’t watch or play. Some of the Nendoroid are cool (I missed on Shovel Knight, oops).

I’ve got that same TP Link and the one in the video looks very weird the colors and the paint are off, I don’t know if figma started lacking in rereleases or you did get a fake
(Also that leg problem with Samus seems to be common mine also does the same but only when I push the articulation to its limits don’t find it too bothersome tbh)

I am pretty sure that twilight princess one is the knockoff. I noticed the box was missing some of the logos and other parts. I bought one from a shady amazon seller and it is literal trash other than the accessories which are now on my Jakks Link from BotW.

Wow great video on some iconic video game figma. I don't have any figmas myself, I did pick up their Sonic the hedgehog as a gift for my sister. Which has the checkpoint sign, and item capsules.

For years toe articulation was kind of considered pointless because you could not get figures to balance on the toe. Or worse yet a loose toe joint will have your figures fall over constantly. But Since figma has stands for extra support they get away with it.

Also as nice as real metal chains are to handle. Its way better for something like the hookshot to be a moulded piece so its constantly tight for photography.
A lot of chain weapons like Megatrons energon mace, or michelangelos nunchuks. Feel like a quality product with metal sure, but their not ideal for photography or posing for display.

Can't help but notice Neca Leonardo leaping into Battle on a stand. That's very brave, and you don't see a lot of Neca collectors really play with them so that's nice to see. Its kind of like the cartoon opening.

I only have a Figma, it's a deluxe, and it's the Link from "A Link between World"
