Affinity Designer - Smooth curve Tracing

A project where I had to trace a Font Logo, where the font was not available. It helps to show the Pen, Node, and Corner tools when creating designs that require smooth flowing lines. This is my personal workflow, hope it assists.

Great tutorial, I might make one suggestion though . Instead of using strokes I like to fill in the curve with a bright colour but turn down the opacity, that way you can always see the image you are tracing and you can be more accurate with your paths.

I really liked your method of using the corner tool instead of fiddling with the nodes, definitely going to do that in the future.

Where others might have left us baffled by talk of beziers, vector paths and fancy maths, you just cut to the chase by presenting a problem and then introducing the best solution: the pen tool.
