One of my biggest goals this year has been to shop more locally because not only are you directly impacting your health, but also your local community.

Shopping locally has so many benefits like supporting the local economy and getting access to fresh, locally grown produce. Also local shops like @midtownfreshmarket have so many unique, handcrafted, and locally sourced items that you can’t find in big-box stores.

My weekly grocery list:
5 protein sources: meats, cheese, yogurts, eggs, milk
���4 complex carbs: whole wheat bread, sourdough bread, quinoa, lentils.
��At least 4 veggies (changes depending on the meal plan for the week): cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, carrots, different colored bell peppers
���at least 4 fruits: watermelon, apples, bananas, berries
��2-3 snacks: @yaza.foods with crackers, dried apricots, nuts and seeds
