As a child, I couldn't fully comprehend this scene. Only after growing up and getting into Bujinkan myself I realized that Ninjutsu has a training to withstand pain and damage, so this scene shows off Frank withstanding Paco's violent Muay Thai kicks, said to be the most potent among all martial arts, torturing him mentally and physically as his blows seem uneffective. (this is also reinforced by the Ninjutsu training with Shidoshi Tanaka)
