This reminds me of this really terrible cartoon with a really awesome premise I wish got done more justice: Butt Ugly Martians. A bunch of martians arrive on Earth with orders to invade and almost immediately decide they love the place and spend the whole series keeping their bosses from finding out they aren't actually doing their job.

I like how the human girl just accepted the alien as they are. She's a keeper, for sure!
Also, I do think that humans would be a dangerous species to infiltrate, because we certainly are willing to mate with, you know, ANYTHING. The chance of the mission getting derailed on account of getting railed is pretty high.
