A lot of people are asking me how I close all the windows at once. You do this by pressing shift+backspace and it's very useful.

Objective: build an airport themed park
You: got it. First let's remove the airport.

this scenario inspired me to open a balloon stand at my local airfield, now I’m a millionaire

I just realized all the rollercoasters you start with are flying types, because it's an airfield. Well played, RCT2.

I know you did not consider this the most difficult scenario in the game, but for me, this is the park I've struggled with most. I always try to make scenarios somewhat realistic and attractive, which I thought was nearly impossible on this map, I somehow had a better time on Fungus Woods and Rainbow Summit. I remember my final attempt inevitably included many cloned rides and a well timed No Entry sign at the entrance...

This is helpful, though I wish I'd watched it before failing the scenario twice!

I thought I was done with this game, then I saw Marcel Vos. Now I developped a new addiction

I've just finished playing this for the last 5 hours. I was 13 guests short by the end of October Year 4! Absolutely gutted.

In my experience, putting down benches too close together sometimes makes tired or nauseous guests ignore their other needs (hunger, thirst, etc.). Instead, they can end up just sitting on one bench, moving over to sit on another bench, and then go back and sit on the earlier bench. Eventually, there can be a lot of guests thinking "I'm hungry/thirsty/need to use the restroom" and it may effect park rating. It also makes it difficult to troubleshoot where you need to place more stalls, as when you leaf through the guests thinking "I'm hungry/thirsty/etc." all you end up seeing are guests on benches that refuse to move, even if they're near stalls. I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue. Please let me know if you do.

As a result, I usually end up placing benches more strategically. It's a good idea to place them on the exit path from nauseating rides and near food stalls so guests can sit and consume their refreshments, allowing them to fulfill both a hunger/thirst demand and an energy demand. Along main paths where there isn't very much else going on, I tend to space out benches to be at around 10 tile spaces apart from each other. I'm not sure if having guests sitting in benches adds to the "it's too crowded here" complaint, but if it does, it would be better to have them off to the sides as well.

Thank you for the tip on the entrance fee pricing! I'm too used to pay for rides model and I never really got used to the entrance fee model. Would charging a little less for the entrance fee so that guests could purchase refreshments and thus stay in the park longer be a good idea though? Or when you select the "free food and drink vouchers" advertisement campaign, do all guests spawn with those vouchers?

Love these videos. I could honestly just watch you building parks with some commentary on it. Maybe a good idea for a new series :)

I'd like to see this map done with the condition that you CANNOT remove any of the tiles already placed. So you have to keep the airfield and buildings and work around them. Might be cool!

OH MY GOD, BALLOONS, EVASIVE MANEUVERS

I beat this without deleting any of the scenery. I like to work with and around the initial layout of the parks. It's more challenging, but also ends up looking very cool and satisfying.
Changing everything just seems kind of like "cheating" to me, though I know it isn't.

While playing this game I noticed benches also raise energy levels for guests that are tired and don't want to leave the park, so that's another good reason to have lots of benches.
Btw thanks for the tutorial! I was having issues with this as well as many other parks that lock ride admissions to free. I really appreciate the help!

I'm really loving these "how to beat" videos you're doing here. They get some very concise and helpful points across for RCT and I really hope you make more. Best of luck to you

Its very impressive how fast you actually have to build! I ve just finished, Rainbow Summit and Fungus Woods doing all well, but with sooo much more space left. Your park is really completed after the four years. I m looking forward what my Amity Airfield will look like after 4 years.
Anyway thank you very much for your awesome videos. =)

To me it is so strange to take such a creative game and use it for maximum efficiency, to an almost surgical level, rather than for the pleasure of fantasy. It's really eye opening and shows the versatility of RCT2, some can use it and play to try to make realistic parks, with coasters and layout that make sense, and others completely disregard realism or IRL rules of ride design to get to the end goal as efficiently as possible.
Clearly, a mix of both seems to be the best approach!

I was stuck on this scenario and Fungus Woods for a long time but after watching a few of your videos I was able to clear both no problem, thank you!
