Lavender Oatmeal Essential Oil Cold Process Soap Making

Normally when I make a natural purple soap I will use Alkanet root infused olive oil in place of some of my recipes olive oil.
But for this release I had already prepared all my oils so I wasn’t able to do that. Instead I decided to mix indigo, madder root and rose clay together. I think it came out pretty good!!

I do have another video coming out that I used just indigo and rose clay and it looks the same.

I know you’re thinking. Why didn’t you just add the infused oil to the batter. Well for some reason when I do that it turns brown 😂

This soap is scented with Lavender essential oil.

I see that there are 2 separate colors- purple and blue. I wonder how is it possible.... you first mixed the madder with the indigo, and then added the rose clay and mix again... you just mix a little bit so they will remain separate colors?....
