I'm designing a very large scratch built RV with a low cabin, four seats, with an aisle between, and dual control steering, but permanent.
My fiance' is from South Africa, influenced by Britain, so right hand steering is natural for her.
So I've decided to build that into both my project vehicles.
I'm researching deep into how each system is engineered, because, not only is this RV going to have dual steering, but the entire front suspension system is a removable modular unit....meaning the "suspension truck" slides into position on rails, and locks in with large pins.
It has dual front steering, two Dana 80 straight axles (one GM, one Ford....pass & driver drop) facing each other with a heavy duty transfer case between them.
Both axles are mounted to a stiff Hendrickson style carrier, and coils above that give flexibility.
There will be plenty of space under the dash for a dual control set up, with only one coupler at the "suspension truck"
I would need to use tilt steering shafts, so if either cockpit is not being used, it can tilt forward and well out of the way.
The purpose of this dual cockpit is for continuous long distance travel without needing to stop

I have being searching ways to install a dual control for my car and found your video. So my question is: Can your kit work for an 89 Pontiac Firebird? There is a special reason for considering this for this car. I own a Knight Rider kitt replica and in order to make the illusion as kitt is driving on its own i would consider something like your dual system. Also what's the average cost of something like this? Thanks in advance for your info. Thank you.
