This video gave me some great ideas for protecting my peas from rabbits this year.

I appreciate your cheap and easy solutions like this. In one of your videos a few years ago you put skinny bamboo stakes in four corners and just slid chicken wire over small plants--that has worked so well for me since I saw it! It keeps the birds, deer, or whatever from eating the tender seedlings. Thanks and take care!

Excellent tip. I will have to try this to keep the squirrels from digging up my plants. Thank you.

In the garden watching this video a second time. Planted more peas in an unfenced area. Going for my wire cutters. Thanks for the simple solution.

Brilliant! First time growing peas last year and the rabbits came and ate them all off once they were around 3 inches tall 😢

I've been saving hair/beard trimmings and then i sprinkle them around the garden periodically.

It seemed to help last season, but I may have just gotten lucky.

Gary, I have terrible stray cat issues and I'm allergic. Definitely need a remedy if I'm going to be able to garden.

Great video! I'm growing broccoli for the first time, what sprays do you use for the butterfly/moth?

Grrat idea! What can we use to protect tomatoes from squirrels? I loose half my crop to squirrels.

Would you ever need to use landscaping staples to secure the chicken wire plant 'cages' or is that unnecessary? Thanks for the post!

Also, just wondering if you think it's a good or bad idea to plant a few winter squash on an old burn pile mound--we just burned limbs three of four times over about a 5 year period--no trash--just yard waste. Thanks!
