Contour vs Bronzer

I think the contour shade is too grey for your skin tone but the bronzer is fire. Honestly I just contour with my bronzer anyway. 😂

Yes, there is a difference in contour & bronzing of the face. As a veteran makeup artist of 30 years, the contour does have a gray undertone, but in different depths and in application for varying skin tones. Bronzing will always be a warmer shade, giving a sunkissed look. Contouring gives definition to your facial features, sculpting them, giving a more symmetrical look, including highlighting certain areas as well. It all requires balance and not overdoing it.😊
Too many times, I have seen it done wrong and not looking natural.
I highly recommend learning Kevyn Aucoin's contour technique in sculpting your face. He was the best in making women look beautiful & natural. I learned from him and another makeup artist mentor and still use those skills today for all my clients. Love being a makeup artist 🎨 💕 💋 💄 😊

I used to think that contour was too grey as well, but the more i look at the natural shadows and the natural structures of our face, i think that contour is perfect. It makes it look like its just shadow. Bronzer adds color.

I think it depends on the scenario. The grey contour would be perfect for indoor/evening events and the bronzer contour for outdoor/day events

I've really always liked bronzer. I'm very pale especially in the winter. Bronzer lights my face up nicely.

God, orange shades literally look crazy, but gray shades do too…after buying my first true color contour I understood how hard it is to actually make a perfect color
