Life Updates: Health Issues, Getting Land, and a Tour of my Mom's Tiny House Bus

Hey buddies! I missed you!

Here's a quick summary of the video:
I was super sick for a long time and I might have celiac disease :(
I'm starting to het healthy again after changing my diet.

But my mom finally got the deed to her land so by spring hopefully I can start building my mushroom farm/lab. I want to grow mushrooms for healthy food and collect fungi for dna barcoding.

I'm getting an Airbnb for winter but in the springtime I hope to start building my mushroom wonderland!

At the end, I give you a tour of my moms tiny house bus that she built!

I built a tiny house 10 X 12 because that's as big as California will let you build without a permit. And you can't have any water or electricity running to it. It's barn shaped with a 6 X 10 loft. I built it 3 years ago for $2, 200, that was for the framing, OSB painted for siding, sheathing, roofing, flooring, prehung metal door, and 2 vinyl frame windows. I have a water faucet and sink outside and a solar power station inside. And last I bought a new porta potty for $600 that I have serviced once a month.

I think the garage option be best for you. It may cost a little more than a trailer, but you will have space to store your garden harvest, your van, and a mushroom lab. A tiny apartment above the garage would be perfect. Good luck lady 💜

I’ve been through similar illness issues and thought I had Celiac disease. Turns out I had CHS Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome. You should look it up. I’ve since met several people experiencing the same symptoms and so far none of them have been Celiac disease. Seems to be a lot of CHS being diagnosed the past 4-5 yrs. Here in California. I think it has to do with how strong the strains have become. I wish you the best and love your chanel.😊

I had a parasite for a couple years nothing worked messed up stomach tried all sorts of things finally cured it killed it for good by eating massive amounts of pumpkin seeds might be worth a a try, glad you're eating well and feeling better, big love to you and all humanity

I've dealt with stomach issues through life and one thing I found that helped me is to eat yogurt at least once a week with probiotics if that may help you. You are both very gifted and creative! I have looked into Yurts, Campers, Amish Cabins, park model trailers for off grid living, I am so excited for your journey, you got this. Love your attitude of sacrifice now, enjoy later. Heaven sent, May your dreams be fulfilled.

My horse/buggy friends with no electricity use cisterns for water. Cistern placed in attic or hill. Gravity fed system for their houses. Love your channel. Hope you continue to get better.

Teresa, it was very nice to see your face again. I have been watching all your adventures and they were not current. Sorry to here you have been ill. Maybe I have the same thing. I have not eaten out for years as every time I do makes me sick. I will have to look into that. Where I work people want me to eat with them out every day and I make up stories so I can avoid it. They all probably have their own opinions as to why i don't join them. Mostly other than being sick from eating out is I think I am part empath. Most times I feel to much from my surroundings that brings me anxiety that fuels other, I hate to admit illnesses. I am glad you are on the road to some property, you have talked so much about over the years. I want the same for myself but living in Wyoming the growing season is so short it is hard to grow your own food. I do not know where your home base is but have you had estimates on fixing the water sitch? Some piping jobs can be fairly cheep to fix so you can have the running water. Hove you start feeling better and look forward to your foraging. videos.
