As XBB1.5 appears to be spreading faster and exhibit escape characteristics superior to other variants is there any evidence/ research showing effectively of Bivalent Vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer ( that are based on BA2, and BA5 respectively ) showing if one or the other is superior in limiting spread of the XBB1.5 variant. Similarly if one may offer superior protection against severe disease for the elderly with comorbidities?
