We celebrate dads birthday (June 15th) with Father’s Day. But hes more about us enjoying our time with him than gifts or doing things for him. Thats what a real mature dad does. He doesn’t complain he didn’t get a party or full on convention thrown for him, bc to him, all he needs and wants is us together and happy and healthy. Matt has to learn it is not about him anymore. There were things going on more important that needed attention and time. He needs to prioritize better. Not even just this, cuz I get you feel sad you were left out or such. But think of the bigger picture, when you have a family and children, you arent the star of the show anymore and sometimes it’s just not gonna be about you like you wish.

Fifth of July . Birthdays are once a year and when you grow up and get a job every day you wake up is a celebration of that. Just like every day I get to enjoy my freedoms so every day I celebrate Independence Day. This year my twin grandsons born June 17th invited me to join our celebration of life on this planet. Not only am I honored but the gift of the both of them is the only gift I will ever need. As far as Christmas and Easter you bet I celebrate them every day because that blood was the ultimate gift not corporate americas idea of celebrating them.

Get over it. My boyfriend’s birthday is Christmas Eve and mine falls on thanksgiving week so sometimes it lands on my birthday. We celebrate our bdays ona different day and continue on by celebrating the holidays normally because everyone is use to the holidays. Why make everyone bend the knee for our bdays and be selfish when we ( the one person) can put their differences aside and choose another day to celebrate so the two events don’t clash.

I hate them both . My dad has his birthday around Father’s Day and some years it fell on the same day and we always celebrated both ! We always managed to keep both days separate and always found a way to make my dad feel loved on both days !
He never asked for much he is a very sweet man and doesn’t loved being spoiled but we always gave him tons of love on both days !
It doesn’t take a ton of effort to show the people you love you love them on special days !
