Leaving my airline?! Why I'm no longer CABIN CREW!

I filmed this video back in the summer but wanted to wait a couple of months before uploading.
I wanted to keep this video as positive as possible, in the meantime lots of other things have happened and my opinion on the whole situation isn't the same anymore.

Hey Evelin 😊You probably don’t remember I commented on a video ages ago saying working for virgin was my dream job and you were a huge inspiration for me. This hasn’t changed. I was heartbroken for you when you were made redundant as well as other crew from other airlines. I was heartbroken for me too knowing that I would probably never get to experience this lifestyle, or even see it through all you amazing crew on social media. It was hard for me to put that dream to bed, I can’t imagine what it’s been like for you. I’m so happy that you’ve managed to find a job you love and I hope you’re doing good now. I’ve found a job I love too and was lucky enough to be hired straight from university in the middle of the pandemic, so it’s not all bad 😊. Keep putting out great content! Stay safe. So sorry you've lost your job. I completely feel for you I was just finishing my tourism degree when this all started out and one of the things I wanted to be was Cabin Crew, hopefully it does pick up in the future but who knows. One of my tutors back in college was Cabin Crew and she worked for your airline she was called Emma Neil and she was lovely. The comments saying about the hair and the make up etc what people don't realise is most people know what they are getting themselves in for when they go to these airlines and what they expect. I do think its good that people do now have a choice to wear it or not. I hope that you do find something else and that you are not out of work too long x

You ARE AMAZING! I think your a positive and well rounded woman and you have done an amazing job in your place of work. Unfortunatley due to Covid many of us have had to take different paths and I’m sure you will have to aswel so ignore negativity and and stay positive xxx

You are more mature and have a vastly positive outlook than most people twice your age. The majority of people are easy to get along with. The other ones are unfortunately the sick black holes who steal our energy. Ignore them. I'm certain that regardless of which career path you take, you'll be an asset wherever you're employed.

Why were people putting up nasty comments? It’s not your fault the dress rules are what they are and people need to be nice to each other, especially during the horrible times we are ALL living through. I love Virgin Atlantic - super airline and I wish you well Evelin. I do think that aviation will recover from the pounding it has taken over the past 2 years. So please don’t give up your cabin crew dream yet; I’m sure Virgin may have you back and if not, there are plenty of airlines who will. You’re my son’s age so you’ve got many years of flying ahead of you yet! Good luck 💜
