Does Stock Size Matter? Small-Cap vs. Mid-Cap vs. Large Cap!

Показать описание
How and why does investing in small, mid, and large-cap stocks help investors better achieve diversification? Why do I think investors are better served by having representation of all three market capitalization's in their portfolio?
All three have unique characteristics and by investing in all three, you avoid stock overlap, which means having the same stocks in more than one of your ETF's or mutual funds.
Diversification is important because it may help mitigate risk, but it has its limits; it won't keep your account from going down in value in a generally down stock market.
