This explains why I feel like I already have the job when I get a call for an interview. It doesn't actually matter how qualified for the job I am, but if I make them like me, and I make them think I'm patient enough to learn, that's far more important than being the most skilled applicant.

This is something ive really learnt the hard way over the course of the last 6 months while I was job hunting, oftentimes I was well qualified but because I'd never nurtured or developed my comminication skills I couldn't really comes across as the best version of myself. All the years of neglecting the importance of effective communication caught up to me and caused me immense problems in interviews. This is now something I can proudly say I've managed to improve substantially enough to land a job that I've been really enjoying and want to continue developing further because there are still gaping holes in my ability to communicate well in person.

I think faster than i can talk. The conversation goes to the next page in my head while I'm trying to just put out my first sentence out. Would you be kind enough to give me and people like me some advice so we can sync in?

Edit: Thanks to everyone who replied with their solutions. Some replies were written in great effort and seriously well put together. But my problem is not because I'm nervous or shy or wrapped in my head too much. I work in a creative industry, and I'm pretty confident in myself and my skills, calm and preserved. But this occurs when, for example, I'm in a business meeting or a brainstorm session, which i have to generate ideas as i speak. This makes me forget what i was about to say, and i even forget the words i have chosen for explaining the situation.
This results in losing my main focus points and sometimes derail from the conversation.
The alcohol method is not working either because 1. I don't drink
2. Even when i drink, i forget more words and sentences😂

Thought about this when interviewing people at my current job. Recently had someone be recommended based on seeing them "in action" but the interview was terrible. I debated on whether to hire or not but chose not to because the interview was still a major piece in the decision.

Yeah, my last interview ended up that way. I'm qualified enough but the interviewer got so annoyed because I am talking like a big shot.
