If Im correct, the tunnel was used to transpor weapons and equipment during the war, later, as the prison was established, the tunnels was used to transport dead bodies.

I'm well aware of the tunnels and the military being present on Alcatraz.... Very clear and professional narrative... Having lived in the Bay area for 35 years, I think I have a good grasp of the history of the area..
