If you get to Kansas City again make sure you get to the WWI museum right by Union Station and Arthur Bryant’s bbq is one of my favorites! Not a resident but a frequent visitor And then come to South Dakota! There are a lot of fun places here!

Welcome to Kansas City. It can be clear and beautiful, 20 minutes later stormy and funnel clouds, a temp drop of 30 degrees, followed by more sunshine and a 40 degree temp increase.

Having lived in Kansas my entire life, I still find it hilarious when people not from the area hear the tornado siren test. You can immediately tell who's a tourist and who's a local.

I live in the Kansas City area. Joe's is my second favorite place just behind Smokehouse. You're right, every Kansas Citian has their own favorite place.

Burnt ends are made from the point from the Brisket. Most places cut it off from the brisket when that is done and smoke it for a while by itself.. It originated here in Kansas City
