Main thing here is her thesis hasn’t been proven. Even if you have been invested with her since the beginning of her fund, it would have still been better to be invested into QQQ.

An alternative thesis is that the truly innovative companies are almost never the ones that succeed, rather these are the companies that follow immediately, take the innovative solution and rip it apart to make it more profitable. Google wasn’t the first search engine, Amazon wasn’t the first marketplace, apple wasn’t the first computer maker. A lot of these high growth companies weren’t innovatives, they took something some lésé created and just made it better, cheaper, or at greater scale

So far no rebound, maybe shorting ARKK, ARKG. last year was 5 years as well so it should be 4 by now. but buying damaged goods is NOT going to increase value anymore. That was few years back maybe.
