Case can be made for multiple expansion since 2010 for the Nasdaq... I mean back in 2010 did we have companies growing at 50-300% revenue YOY disrupting industires? We have a plethora of those now

ARKK has a down side of about $62 and an upside of about $90. The risk/reward is very good right now. I am a buyer of ARKK right now.

She mentioned in that interview something I believe in that you're not considering: in 5 years from now (i.e. End of 2016) the world will look very different than it does today. The tools we use for communication, transportation, entertainment, healthcare, shopping, etc.

I think I remember Cathie saying she is assuming valuation compression in her companies as they grew. I think she said their models assumed a decrease to FAANG multiples. My guess is that her growth predictions are higher than most peoples. (But she probably is also modeling higher multiples and longer hold times than most as well)

Well a lot of what was crazy high multiple high growth ark type stocks a year ago have come down to much more realistic valuations now so she may be correct.

Kathie Wood is smart but she is too aggressive for me. If ARKK gets to 102 or less...I will always add though...my speculative and high growth. In 5 years? you never know though. If I said a year ago...BABA will go down 60% people would call me crazy....anything can happen in 5 all have our own assumption and hope for the best ....

Cathie has a $420 price call for ARKK before 2026. I have a $250 price target. I think my outlook is much more realistic. We will see.

It will be difficult especially with interest rates going up, inflation going up...covid showing no signs of going away...it will be very difficult for her fund. Usually growth stocks don't fare well in situations like this.

Not even a month after DOW 36, 000 was finally reached. That's awesome timing. I know she remembers so she must have done it on purpose.

For those too young to get the reference: someone wrote a book in 1999 claiming that the DOW was extremely under valued and would 4x to 36, 000 by 2004. Maybe Danial can put that one on display in the background.
