Clarification: Phones *DO* emit some radiation, but not the *HARMFUL* ones like ionizing radiation. They emit *RADIO WAVES* that are essential in transmitting signals like text and radio, and radio waves are on the far left of the EM spectrum, where longer wavelengths sit and don't harm life. The right side is where shorter wavelengths stay, and where more UV it emits, and thus making it dangerous.

Test the natural background radiation of various places. Beaches, forests, mountains, cities, landfills, etc..

After a few hours of being in the comments, I've learned a few things:
There is an important distinction between "radioactive" and "emits electromagnetic radiation"
radioactive is about the dangerous wavelengths of EMR. (beta, alpha, gamma), which he tested for.

On a medical note, there have been a few cases where people attributed phones to causing cancer, but it's most likely correlation, not causation, especially considering the results of the video.

On an tangential note, coal power plants actually put more radiation into the environment around them then nuclear power plants. Naturally occurring radioactive elements are present in the coal, and are concentrated in the ash. Coal plants generally have a lower safety standard than nuclear plants due to various stigmas (thanks, Russia)

TL;DR: radioactive is only the dangerous ones, cell phones don't cause tumors, and you're more likely to get radiation poisoning living next to a coal power plant than living next to a nuclear power plant.

I had an ionising radiation course during my physics degree. The whole argument with radiation is not about ionising radiation but near microwaves causing heating in localised areas in body tissues like the brain. Needless to say the effect is insignificant.

I know a person who loves to sun bath without sun screen, but he is afraid of the radiation of the phone.
Man, the gamma radiation of the sun is so much more damaging in a sunny summer midday that whatever the phone is going to emit in 100 years in your pocket.

I think you might want to put a clarification in this one in that cellphones do not give off ionizing radiation, which is the dangerous type. They do, however, give off radiation in the form of radio waves. That's how they communicate with cell phone towers and with wifi. Like I said, not dangerous, especially not at the strength a cell phone can produce, but it's still radiation, and it's something people will cling to and use to "debunk" your video
