HOW TO: Milwaukee grease gun reload.

This is a quick and easy how to video on reloading the Milwaukee m18 grease gun with a new grease cartridge.

I’m just your average diy guy and this is how I’ve been doing it for the lifetime of this tool with no issues.

I pop the plunger to push the old tube back out, use the plastic cap to get under the pull tab to open the other end. Had mine for 10yrs, use it daily as a heavy equipment operator and I’ve never had an issue with it. They’re a huge timesaver

One important thing is try and make sure you don't get grease on the battery. It ruins them. So much so that Milwaukee sells a grease resistant battery specifically for it.

I do it exactly the same way with one difference, after I install a new cartridge, I push the plunger back in all the way. It feels strange, but so is the long plunger sticking out. Maybe you could try it as well, it works fine ;-)
