This video introduces Conformance Checking and Object-Centric Process Mining in Celonis and ProM.

First, the newest version of #Celonis (May 2024) is shown, which includes the Object-Centric Data Model, the Multi-Object Process Explorer (MOPE), and the Process Adherence Manager (PAM). Note that PAM uses the inductive mining algorithm and alignments in the background. This illustrates #ObjectCentricProcessMining and #ConformanceChecking.

Second, the academic license version version of #Celonis is used to illustrate conformance checking. This uses a classical event log and token-based replay instead of alignments.

Third, conformance checking in #ProM is discussed. There are many plug-ins that can check conformance. Most of them are using alignments. Sometimes, this is integrated into a discovery plug-in and sometimes separate. Just select an event log and process model, and search for conformance checking.

The video was produced in the context of the BPI course at RWTH Aachen University.

Thanks for the insight of the OCPM capabilities in Celonis, Wil! Given, that OCPM is very likely to be the standard of Process Mining in the near future: Is there the intention to also give students within the academic license the opportunity to use the facettes of OCPM in Celonis?
