I'm a Black person, but I take issue with the statement that "70 percent of the players are black, but a small percentage of the coaches are black", ...what does that have to do with it?
It's not like we can learn better from a black coach, than we can from white coach!
The color of the coaches has NOTHING to do with it....the only relevancy is the "INFORMATION!"
I grew up in the 60s and the 70s, I went to a diverse school in elementary, junior high and high schools, I've played the 3 most common sports "football, basketball and baseball) I've had black, white and hispanic coaches (I don't recall having a coach of Asian decent), but the color of the coach was insignificant, I never felt that I was being taught better by either one because of they're color, there just wasn't any psychological acknowledgment of that

Maybe the Giants wanted a more offensive mind - Maybe they wanted a guy to help turn Daniel Jones into a better QB - Flores did a terrible job with Tua - Maybe they didnt want to hire someone who was just fired and is rumored to be a distraction in the organization - Hmmmm, when you say it that way I guess color doesnt even matter - If you wanna blame anything then blame the Rooney rule that was supposed to help blacks but instead it just made things worse - The Giants knew what they wanted but because of the Rooney rule they had to have sham interviews and waste everyones time -Im sure they didnt want to do that to Flores

Think about that…. A team owner is trying to pay a coach to lose so that the team can get a better draft . True definition of capitalism.

He was not a good coach at best he was midland. He didn't get the job because the Giants did not want him. If it wasn't for Rooney rule he wouldn't have even had an interview. The miscue of Belichick text is nothing more than congratulations to new coach. He's whining which shows low character and he is playing on the equality card of racism. I am hoping the NFL wipes the floor with this clown and next year he's looking for work at HS level. What's worse is that the majority of people who are supporting don't have a clue. The NFL has made great strides in moving the cause of equality. There are many good coaches that black that are getting a shot as are black quarterbacks.

He is a terrible coach. Why are people acting like he is a good coach? Why would any owner want a terrible coach who keeps losing? they didn't even make the playoffs.

The NY Giants was the very last team in the NFL to start a black quarterback SMH

People who own businesses owe you nothing. They can hire who they want to.

I don’t think they will ever prove he was offered money to lose. It sounds like a verbal conversation.

Substantiate the racism. Otherwise, you are just a narcissist. If the racism can't be substantiated then the individuals using racism as a cover story to get attention are suffering from narcissism. Period. Your "feelings" are not a substantiation.

Why u look nervous brian ? U started to stutter and your lawyer had to step in . Is that how your interviews went too

So for it to be diverse enough, they need 5 Hispanic coaches, 4 Black coaches, 1 Asian coach, 1 Native coach and 21 White coaches?
Would y'all quit cryin then? Doubt it

The story not adding up to me. Flores claims racism and discriminatory hiring practices in the NFL and says that the league feels like a plantation, but yet he was still going around interviewing w/ teams in the league? This man don’t care about social action and justice It’s all about the money.
