1974 Discotheque transitioning to Disco brought the FUNK along with DIRTY TRICKS by The Sweet Inspirations, B side of their self cover of Try A Little Tenderness was an underground turntable dance floor hit (I know it packed my floor). I wish I had the tech back in the day to extend it like this because people would rush to the floor at the opening beat not wanting to miss a second. A #1 on my playlist in 1974.
