When I contacted support to ask how to exclude websites when using the Windows app, I was told it can't be done because you'd need to add all of the domains for that particular website making it almost impossible to do. I was told it only works when using the browser plugin. This video is exaclty what I've been looking for..thanks so much!

EDIT: It doesn't work for me. Adding BOA (bank) doesn't bypass it and it won't connect when trying to access the bank.

Great explanation, but what I'm trying to do is to direct a specific application rather than a website, like the example you mentioned in the beginning of the video, let's say, I want Skype to go through the VPN but any other program/game to not go through it, how would I setup the .ovpn file to do this? Thanks

Unfortunately OpenVPN client doesn't seem to have the option to route or exclude applications from the VPN.

Can I just use my vpn for particular game in pc and since I also want to stream that game on youtube via OBS, I want to stream it directly through my LAN connection.
I want it because my VPN has 30GB/month limit only while I have unlimited LAN internet.
Can you just help me out of this

I have NordVPN setup and have enabled Split tunnel. I have selected a couple of apps to route through the VPN. When I download via those apps, Task Manager shows my NordLynx adaptor has lots of traffic going through it, and my regular network connection has nearly none (as expected) . However after a certain time, the same volume of data/traffic showing on NordLynx also starts showing on my regular adaptor. Why does it do this, it's like the regular adaptor is mirroring the nordlynx. ? thanks

It seems that if your route uses https it doesn't actually exclude the routing.
