He was great friends with mark twain who actually go the book published for him cause he was about to sell it to a different publisher for 1k. After the book was made he passed away and his wife received like 400k in the first month from twains publisher

Wrong, gaslighting, on Grant's biography book at his death bed. Grant was broke and needed the money to support wife after his death. The publisher threatened that if he, who was terminally ill, didn't finish it she wouldn't receive anything. So he painfully wrote it. So he died completing it.

He was born Hiram Ulysses Grant. The "S" doesn't mean anything bu the "U" did.

President Johnson was a democrat from the south. Its hard to believe he had a problem with amnesty for Lee. This must have happened before Johnson was impeached! 😅
