Hope you enjoy! This week I hit a new sales record, posted a ton of letters, and I'm looking to hire!

Hiring someone to post letters for you isn't a great idea at this stage. That money would be better spent setting up a simple website to list services, rates, and reviews to help your credibility with the letters you post.

Then you can add the website to the letters, as well as an incentive to the letter. Like a discount for those who receive it. New customers get X percent off, running a deal for X percent in this area to kick off the season, pressure washing customers get a free weed treatment, etc.

That's the kind of thing you should have in place before even thinking about paying someone to hand out letters. The letters need to do more heavy lifting for you marketing wise, and they aren't if you're still just writing the same things with no more credibility than you started with.

Nevermind that you'll simply have to trust that whoever you hire is actually doing the work. Not just saying they dropped things in the post while they're really only doing a few, then tossing the rest of the letters out lol

When you lower prices to try and get people to buy. It makes them think your product isnt worth the price and they know that you know, the product you offer isnt worth the price. Every sale has to be a profit. Otherwise its not worth the time and effort to do it. Reaffirm them that your product is worth the price. Rather than dropping it. Paying fir good reviews is also very scummy.

my advice would be local business pay for people handing out leaflets. if you call local business and ask if they would like to pay you to hand out ther leaflets. you should find some people that way you can earn money while going door to door offering your preasure washing business

Really enjoying the series! On the £149 may be worth mentioning the time it’ll take you? £249 sounds a lot but not if it’s taking all day. Also, are you posting completed jobs in local Facebook groups? My cousin gets all his work that way may help generate some more 🙂

Hiring someone to do the letters while you're 2700 pounds in the hole seems insane to me. I get it if you're too busy to do it. But this just seems like you can't be arsed so you would hire someone else to it for you.

You can do this keep pushing keep posting more leaflets. Incentives for customer referrals. Post online ads create a website create social media. Place flyers and business cards locally. Keep going to the door you seem pretty likable so people should go for it. Also, don’t come across scared when offering a free service to tell them what you charge for. We all want to see you win, you got this mate! 🤝

Dude a suggestion - why not print lettters onto A5 paper, then you don't have to fold (and it will be cheaper). Alternatively, fold as you are delivering.
