Tim Duncan is a 2x MVP, 3x Finals MVP (2nd all time) 4 time Champion, 14 time All star, 10x All NBA first teamer(3rd all time) and the all time leader in playoff blocks/all defensive appearances. Tim Duncan can still destroy anyone on the low post, he can run perfect pick and rolls and has that unstoppable 15 footer off the glass. He protects the rim, crashes the glass and anchors the defense as well as any great PF, his teammates love him, you can see it and the Spurs have always had the best chemistry, always... and you have to credit Duncan and Pop for that. Since 1997 you never heard of Duncan dogging it, calling out teammates, complaining about money, asking for a trade, giving himself a nickname, of course people found that boring. Tim Duncan didn't have cool commercials, Tim Duncan didn't have street cred, Tim Duncan wasn't polarizing. Hey Tim Duncan you're boring, that's what people said. I'm sorry since when was winning boring? You realize the Spurs have won over 70% of the games Duncan's played in right? The Spurs never missed the Playoffs with him and never won less than 50 games with him except for the strike year in 1999 when they went 37-13 and won their first NBA Championship led by their Finals MVP Tim Duncan. Oh and the Spurs came within two plays of possibly winning 5 straight titles with Duncan; Fisher's crazy game winner in 2004 and Manu's ill advised foul on Dirk in 2006(not to mention game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals). And now Tim Duncan has opportunity to win his 5th ring and potentially Finals MVP 15 years apart. Even if he doesn't win another championship, he's still the greatest PF of all time and certainly the greatest player of his generation, greater than Kobe, greater than Shaq, greater than Garnett.

Tim DUNCAN IS the spurs.  Right now he is robin but lets be real when you got a beast like Tony Parker.  Its ok being 2nd fiddle.

I watched this entire game, and I really enjoyed it, but my god the refs make some pretty redicoulous calls. I don't care who wins but they gave the spurs a field day with these foul calls.
