Watching this series of videos and hearing the smoke detector saying "Change my battery!" over and over gave me the thought to tell you to change it until I did some thinking and realized you had moved into another house and no longer had to worry about the smoke detector.

wondering are you using the hydroponic system as your fish filter to purify your water or do you have a dedicated filter for your fish raising. Also what types of fish you raising and plants/crop you growing ? Also about the hydroponic bed its hard to see the make up of it seems like a cool setup. Is the half barrel drums just filled with rocks and an inch of water on top or so. If so did you just drop the seeds in the water or did you start from seedlings ?

Once you have values for each test, how do you calculate the amount of
chemicals needed to correct the problems? I assume you will need to
multiply the amount of water in the tank by the number of doses, but is
that correct? As an example, say your Ph reading is not ideal and you
need to raise the Ph in a 225-gallon tank. How much chemical is needed
to raise the tank from a Ph of 5 to 7?

I've had my system running for about 4-5 months now and my nitrates are constantly very low. I'm running a 200 gallon pond with a 4 by 4ft grow bed. Would this be from too little fish? I have about 20 fish that are about 5 inches long.

where is the bacteria starting from? is it in the roots of the plants or in the biofilter? How did you start it?

what about other components like P and K that are essential for healthy plant growth. Do you test them in your system?
