Michigan State is basically a one-man team. They go as far as their RB takes them. Seriously, if not for Walker, they would have been destroyed by Michigan,

Man, I really enjoy these guy’s chemistry. I enjoyed the earlier host as well, but I have been a Max fan since Around The Horn days.

Michigan state loss to an unranked Purdue team. Michigan loss to a top 10 team. There answered your question Lenny.

Michigan lost by 4 on the road, osu lost by 7 at home. That’s the difference here

I do not wish to hear anything Keyshawn has to say. When he played for the Bucs and they practiced in downtown Tampa at the college field I took my children almost every week. Many Many of the players were so gracious and kind to the kids waiting in line after practice for autographs, Lynch, Dunn, even Sapp would stop. There were so many I forgot most names, my son was happy to get Jeff Christie too. But Keyshawn never would stop, never spoke or waved. He ignored those children like they were a bother. He was not nice period, never gave them the time of day. So I refuse to give him my time when he speaks. Character makes impressions.

I would love to hear Keyshawn's take on Texas A&M. How do we rank them? Should it be based on their win over Bama? Should it be based on their 2 losses to inferior teams?

MSU beat Michigan less than two weeks ago. There are always questionable calls. Michigan State came back from a 30-14 deficit. Purdue is a good team. Michigan State's strength of schedule and its offense is better than Michigan's. Finally, the the integrity and credibility of the CFP committee just loses in all of this. Michigan is always, always favored by the media and money and that's why the Gary Barta and the CFP put Michigan ahead. It's all obvious and everyone knows Michigan State should outrank them, even near the beginning of the season.

Because they were fraudulent. Now Michigan may very well prove to be also, but Michigan State lost the very next week to an unranked Team, and looked pretty terrible at times doing it.

Refs literally admitted they handed Michigan State the win. Then they went and lost to an unranked team. Hands down Michigan deserves to be higher ranked

Click bait. By now everyone knows cfp rankings are based on the committee 's personal favorites. It's no different than the bcs and ap rankings.

I'm a Michigan fan and I don't know why either.

Actually Michigan's was supposed to win that game they had the game won. Michigan State got a lucky call and their favor where they took back a Michigan touchdown. The administration apologized for their error days later

So how is Cincinnati and Oklahoma not top 3????

It's not that hard. Michigan and MSU basically played an even game, with Michigan State getting the win at home with some good fortune (an unforced turnover by Michigan, who basically has zero turnovers on the year) and calls that went their way (including calls the B10 admits they got wrong). MSU got the win that day, but wasn't necessarily the better team, even on that day. They were very even - with Michigan having better stats on the season and in that game. Jump to this week and Michigan played a solid game against Indiana, with corrections to issues against MSU, while MSU got beat pretty handily by a three loss Purdue, arguably taking a little step back or at least sideways. Things may look different next week, depending on how each team plays - especially if a loss happens.

The bigger crime is why Cincinnati isn't #3 above Oregon and Ohio State.

MSU has given up almost 1000 yards passing in the last two games and ranks dead last among FBS schools in pass defense, and loss badly to an unranked team, duh.

Because Michigan dominated every statistical category in that game which could have gone either way, was apologized to by the Big Ten for overturning a call that took points off the board and other questionable calls and because Michigan State is close to, if not the worst statistical team against the pass. Michigan was playing with multiple back ups. The committee rightly feels that on a neutral site, with neutral officials, UM is the better team.
