I always love seeing the older videos of Clark, Daniels, Cash etc in their primes. Such badasses. I had grown up seeing them in their golden age eras and missed it the first time.

Roy Clark is the best American guitar player period. I know this song is hundreds of years old but I am not certain if it is from Mexico or from Spain.

I pretty sure Eddie Van Halen must have admired and taken inspiration from Roy Clark. Van Halen’s Mean Street sound technique definitely had to be influenced by this.
