Thank You very much for this inspiring arrangement. It gives me an idea, of what Poulenc might have thought of in this melancolic composition, during his stay in New York in spring 1960. Nice greetings from Bonn, Beethovens birthplace!

Nice to see a proper big theorbo, as it should be! There is no reason why more 'modern' music can't be played on lute instruments as long as it fits, it's an interesting contrast to the earlier repertoire. I also play modern music, but on the mandora which has the advantage of being fully chromatic. The sound is like a lute but with a different character, you can hear it played from my icon.
