Yes, Yepes does make a good sound, as always. However, I'm sorry to say that: 1. he's sometimes a bit out of tune, 2. he does a repeat that is not written, probably to make it into a longer 'concert' piece, but this is meant to be a brief yet poignant homenage to Ida Presti, 3. I don't like the vibrato on the main theme, it sounds out of keeping, to me, with what is essentially neo-renaissance music, 4. sorry, wrong note in bar 23: the c# should hold on, as written (not C natural as he plays). Sorry to be a stickler, but some things have to be said. :-( or :-)

The more I heard this, the more disgust, sorry, for any enlightened Yepes "talibán".
Really amazing.

Plods along, was the vibrato an attempt to breath life into it?
This piece needs to be caressed and not played so robotically.
You should be able to hear the composer exploring the guitar's sonority.
