LABOUR | SQUIRRELFLIGHT ANIMATIC [READ DESC]

MAJOR (?) SPOILERS FOR THE NEWEST BOOK IN THE WARRIOR CATS SERIES.

HOWEVER, i haven't read any of the newer books (anything past vision of shadows), so a LOT of this is just based off of stuff ive heard online, so take it with a grain of salt if you want! I'm putting this here just in case, because I based a bunch of it off of something i heard. If its wrong, say its an au!

Holy man i am so proud of this. I've worked on this for the past three days STRAIGHT, and it came out so much better than I expected!!! As soon as i heard this song on tiktok, i was like "lmao someones gonna make a squirrelflight animatic/map to that". but then i realized... /I/ could be the one to make it. and so i did. plus the song is an absolute BANGER so its a win win

The video is a little all over the place timeline wise, so Ill update the description/make a pinned comment later with an explanation of all of the sections/scenes if wanted/needed!!!

But its essentially (spoilers for the animatic go watch it first lmao): Bramblestar decides to retire from leadership, so he and Squirrelflight, his deputy and mate, travel to the moonpool to recieve word from starclan as to what to do. Along the way, Squirrelflight remembers all of the shitty things that's happened in her life, a lot of them coinciding with Brambleclaw/star, and is very frustrated about how she always has to put her life and dreams aside for his. In a shocking turn of events, when she goes to ask Starclan for advice, they give her some lives, and make /her/ the new leader of Thunderclan! squirrelstar ftw

Bramblestar steps down out of his trauma after being in the dark forest, being abused and hits body being used by Ashfur.

Bramblestar in the newest books is showing the signs of dementia by forgetting stuff and talking about things that was never bought up.

One time in the book, Nightheart is talking to Bramblestar. Who doesn't ever seems to notice or listen to Nightheart, instead talking about the blackbirds and how pretty they are.

He also having challenges in solving problems!

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I love all the small details too, it made the whole thing so easy to follow and watch (EX: Background colors changing to distinguish the current from back flashes). I love squilf so much, it made me upset to see her caught up in so much drama, especially with Bramblestar :( But she’s managed to stay strong and true to herself throughout it all! So if she’s becoming Squirrelstar, she really deserves it and has a ton of leadership qualities. Amazing job Teddy, I’ve watched this like twice over already lol. ^^
