It's a good laptop. The one I'm using is issued for work. It works well good performance for office work plus mapping I use it for. Screen is good overall. At first I thought like you re. The screen but after some time I like it.

Yeah these are fairly thick and plasticy compared to that of the 5000 or 7000 series. I have both a 7400 for Windows 10 that I use for work and a 5400 that I use at home with linux on it. Both supposedly are made from recycled carbon fiber with the 7400 feeling really well built (for a modern laptop anyway). Still the 3000 series is about the level of a 5000 series inspiron in a 3000 case, roughly with some business oriented bits. They go cheaper in the consumer markets, with the inspiron 3000 starting with a celeron. Yuck! But at least you've got an i5 here. Not world changing, but decent productivity.. exactly for what this device is intended for. I just set up a 3410 for a customer or mine. Again not exactly anything special.. but it gets the job done. The worst flaw of her unit was the fact that it has only a 720p display like yours, it's IPS at least. Coming from a 1080p premium panels of my 7400 and 5400 however I could certainly see that not all displays are built the same. Good review. Awesome work!
