When does Down Payment Assistance make sense❓❓

A question a lot of potential home buyers ask us is if they qualify for down payment assistance. WE find that most people do qualify for down payment assistance, but that doesn't always mean that it's the right loan program for them. If you can come up with you own down payment instead of getting assistance your financing terms will be better and you will have more buying power. But if you can't come up with the down payment on your own, then by all means, use the assistance program and become a home owner.
