Appreciate this content. I partnered with a friend over a year ago to start this and we are definitely in the green, but it's much harder than we anticipated. We are about 2 months away from launching our first product (we didn't anticipate Chinese New Year) and we've put in £1500 so far without actually ordering anything! We have been tested and we are at a crossroads, but I feel we are both still determined as the goal is too great. We've sorted the packaging and the product (separate suppliers) and after New Year we're both going to deposit £1500 each into the account and go for it. We both hate our day to day job, but we work 50 hours a week and it's extremely difficult to have the energy at times. It's very hard, but we are hoping it's rewarding. We both also have a profit in mind per product and if we achieve that, great.

This is real shit my friends....unless you have a brand new super unique product I wouldn't even bother....PPC will eat you alive....you actually have a better chance selling on Ebay

Yep truth is if you want to really kill it on FBA you need to start with about 20-30k. Thats what i've done and used a wholesale model. I'm making six figures but the cash for product costs is 30k per month. Not undoable but you need to save up first.

I think a lot of people forget that it's more than just having enough money for inventory. All the misc fees like a lot of ongoing expenses. Hard to keep up without another form of cash flow at the beginning to fund this business.
